BWS DI participates in both the fall and spring match through the Dietetic Internship Centralized Application Service (DICAS).     The DICAS Online applicant portal, a service of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, is a convenient website used by students who are applying to dietetic internship programs.  You can visit DICAS at portal.dicas.org.

To be apply to our program, you must complete and meet the following requirements:

  • Official Transcripts (submitted via your DICAS application)
    • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college, university or foreign equivalent to align with the CDR requirements for eligibility to sit for the credentialing exam.
    • Valid DPD Verification Statement
  • A Personal Statement (1,000 words or less) that helps the admissions committee understand the applicant’s background, ambitions, personal experiences and professional aspirations (submitted via your DICAS application).
  • Three Letters of Recommendation (submitted via your DICAS application).
  • A Completed BWS DI Supplemental Application (download PDF)
    • Must include a proposed rotation schedule.  The structure of a distance program allows applicants select their own rotation sites and preceptors.
    • Please complete the supplemental application and upload to your DICAS portal.
    • Submission deadline: same as DICAS submission deadline.
  • Application Fee: In addition to the DICAS application fee, a non-refundable $75 internship application fee payable to Be Well Solutions Dietetic Internship.
    • Make checks payable to: Be Well Solutions Dietetic Internship
    • Send payments to: Be Well Solutions, 30625 Solon Rd. Suite C., Solon, OH 44139
    • Submission deadline: same as DICAS submission deadline.
  • A 3.0 GPA is preferred, but not required
  • Graduate Record Examination score (GREs) is NOT required
