Associate Director & Faculty Advisor
Tristyn completed her undergraduate studies at Williams College, where she graduated magna cum laude with a degree in English literature. She went on to receive her MBA from Harvard Business School, subsequently working in the fields of investment banking, strategy consulting, and academic publishing. After a long career in business, Tristyn decided to pursue her passion for nutrition full-time. She earned her master’s degree in Public Health Nutrition from Case Western Reserve University, completing CWRU’s coordinated dietetic internship program to become a registered dietitian. Her internship included rotations at Orange City Schools, MetroHealth Broadway Health Center, DaVita Dialysis, Cuyahoga County WIC, Hillcrest Hospital, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, GA.
After completing her master’s, Tristyn stayed on at CWRU to teach nutrition courses at the undergraduate level. She then joined Be Well Solutions as a Wellness Dietitian, playing an integral role in many of BWS’s corporate wellness activities, including biometric screenings, one-on-one client counseling, and educational seminars. Her areas of specialization include gastrointestinal disorders, plant-based dietary patterns, diabetes management, weight loss, and healthy weight gain. She became a Faculty Advisor for BWS DI’s second cohort, and has enjoyed mentoring interns ever since.
In her free time, Tristyn takes in as many of Cleveland’s wonderful art exhibits, plays, lectures and films as she can. She also enjoys hiking, skiing, fitness classes, and spending time with her husband and two college-aged children.
